Whether you’re looking for a feature piece for the front of your house, terrace or garden, the classic topiary brings an elegant, ornamental touch. Suitable for sprucing up a home or commercial space, topiary trees come in all shapes and sizes. The large varieties make for fantastic standout pieces.
As an evergreen variety, they don’t lose their leaves meaning they look great all year round. All you have to do is keep them trimmed so they keep their immaculate shape and form.

Frequently Asked Questions
Bay laurels can grow as high as 60 feet, but typically grow to about 10 feet tall. If you’re looking for a taller variety for your outdoor space, our team will be able to advise.
The most popular tree varieties for topiary include: box (Buxus sempervirens) and yew (Taxus baccata). Being small-leaved and easy to shape makes them a favourite. However, other evergreens such as holly (Ilex) and bonsai trees can also be used. Some varieties can also be used to bring a splash of colour, including the Red Robin Plant which has distinctive red-tipped leaves.
We recommend giving your topiary an annual trim with topiary shears or hedge cutters. Early or late summer is best. Faster growing species may need to be trimmed more often.
